Education
Hello! My name is Lyndsey Kanz. I received my bachelor's in elementary education at Hannibal-LaGrange University in December of 2020. This upcoming school year will be my fourth year teaching. I taught first grade for one year and fourth grade, here at Harvey, for two years! I have worked with a variety of ages through my college and teaching experience. I also volunteer any chance I get to work with children of all ages.
My Family
I grew up in a very small town in Illinois. I have two sisters and one brother. Family is very important to me and they taught me the importance of setting goals and working hard to achieve those goals. I strongly believe in spending time with family and making lifelong memories. I look forward to hearing what memories you have made over the summer!
Recent Adventures
Shortly after graduating, I got married and moved from Illinois to Florida. We finished building our first house two years ago! We welcomed our second Frenchie to our family this past year. We love going on adventures together. We are very ambitious people who love to stay busy.

As your teacher, I promise to work hard at providing the best education you can receive. I am dedicated to learning new things and utilizing what I have learned. I try to make my lessons and your learning as engaging as possible. This year is going to be full of memories and I cannot for you to start!
